Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a new theatre company. From 2014 through her appointment in 2019, she was artistic director for the Seoul Shakespeare Company. She also served in the SSC as the producer, costume/set design composer/music director and coach for text while serving as Artistic Direction. While she was usually the leader inside her ensemble of actors, in her last year as an actor in SSC King Lear, she took on the role of director and light designer. Alongside her acting work, she's also associated with several game programs. She is the daughter of the scientist Richard F. Post and his wife poet Marylee Post was raised in Walnut Creek and Stanford alongside her two siblings. Las Lomas High School in Los Angeles was her high school that she chose to attend. It was where she played cheerleader. After a brief stint at Pomona College, she graduated from Lewis & Clark College. Post was married prior with Stephen Knox. Post has been married in 1982 Michael A. Ross, an actor and writer with who she has two daughters. Post inspires many Hollywood actors as she is an amazing actress as well as the ideal wife and parent.
